The Datafast Site
My MVC Experiment
An experimental web site is probably not the pinnacle of professionalism but it is important for
my personal growth as a web developer. My previous site had a bit of content and was, in my
opinion, attractive and well-authored. At present, this site is not, but from a developer’s point of
view, it’s way cooler.
MVC stands for Model-View-Controller. I’m not an MVC developer but I aspire to be one soon.
I’ve built sites with ASP .Net but never been happy with the results. Microsoft MVC is a powerful
platform that is very developer-friendly. Thanks much to Scott Guthrie and the Microsoft team who
delivered this great option for web developers.
Be sure to check out the Articles link above. It’s the only real developer resource here.
It lists all my online articles for the last dozen years or so. The Messier page was created
as a vehicle to explore some MVC techniques while documenting the astronomical objects I’ve observed.
Thanks for visiting the DataFast Consulting web site. If you've come for help looking up information
about a programming question, I hope you find what you were looking for. If not, feel free to contact me at
danny@lesandrini.com and I'll try to get you my best answer in a timely fashion.
Cheers and Clear Skies to all you amateur astronomers.
